Complaints
TOPANGA didn't reveal the stream links until the moment the tournament started. A lot of people were at the TOPANGA TV channel and knew it from some guys who were kind enough to wait and redirect people.

We don't know why make a good tournament just to fail at PR. They should announce days before and also keep tweeting about it during the tournament. This's why we miss Niconico. They have better management and will put the stream on the first page.

A lot of people also didn't know about the online donation via subscription. They should mention about it on the official Twitter or at the stream page. In fact, we think they should make the chat sub only. There's nothing wrong with it, since the money will go to charity and also make chat peaceful. (A cute chat icon for the sub would be nice too)

TOPANGA TV celebrates its 100th episode with TOPANGA Fight Club members

TOPANGA TV tonight has celebrated its 100th episode with the appearance of its graduated TOPANGA Fight Club members: Negi (Ibuki), Suda (Ryu), Machabo (Fei), and Murata (Yun).

These members will also compete in The 3rd TOPANGA Charity Cup, except Negi, who is now too busy to play the game. She will however be there as a staff.

The highlight is, at the end, Mago used Murata's signature move "Dai Circus" (Big Circus) on Murata himself. Dai Circus is when you (accidentally) do command grab twice in a row.

TOPANGA TV (2012.06.27) feat. Umehara

Last night, Daigo Umehara came to promote his Pre-Evo event on TOPANGA TV. And since there was some time left, they asked him to play one ranked match. He first said "only one match then," but ended up playing more.

Notes
- Mago lost his passport at CEO 2012 so he had to stay to fix the problem. He decided to live with Justin Wong until Evo 2012.
- Umehara announced that his second book talk on Nico is scheduled on June 30, 9 P.M., hours after the Pre-Evo event.
- Fuudo and Kazunoko are confirmed for the Pre-Evo event.
- Umehara usually doesn't talk while playing. This's the first time!
- After the first match, Umehara said "One more." in English.
- Umehara doesn't want to win by timeout.
- Umehara played without button checking, he missed some moves.
- The recorded stream is here (Umehara starting 1:40).

Note
- There're many well-known players/persons in Japan's FGC in this charity event. Some people you saw on the stream in the background are well-known in the community but they don't go to a tournament, especially female players.
- Many people came to this event even they live far away. (IIRC YHC-Mochi lives in the south-west coast of Japan 800 kilometers away)
- From the facts above, this is easily the biggest Street Fighter tournament in Japan because you don't normally see those people in the same venue like this.
- 95.8% of viewers rated the show on the main stream "Extremely good."
- The show ended with more than 166,000 attendees and more than 186,000 comments.

TOPANGA hints new Charity Cup

Last year in April, a player organization TOPANGA was born and a charity Street Fighter IV 5 on 5 tournament was organized to raise money for the Japan's great earthquake victims. They were able to raise and donated 760,000 yen to Red Cross.

It was hinted by Nyanshi the organizer on TOPANGA TV last night that there will be a charity cup again this year.

TOPANGA TV now moved from Saturday night 10 P.M. to Wednesday night 9 P.M. The first episode in the new time schedule was just last night.

The show has a training corner called TOPANGA Fight Club. It now has 3 new students - Negi (Ibuki), Suda (Ryu), Machabo (Fei Long). The latest episode had Negi appear on the show live for the first time as well.

TOPANGA Fight Club adds girl member

Mago and Tokido announced on TOPANGA TV last night that the second term of TOPANGA Fight Club will have a girl member.

From the introduction video:
- Her name is Negi.
- She played fighting game with her older brother when she was a kid. (She doesn't have much experience.)
- She uses Ibuki because she likes Final Fantasy VII and Yuffy. Ibuki looks like Yuffy.
- Her hobby is fishing.
- She applied because she saw TOPANGA stream on Nico and she's interested in fighting games.

In May, Mago and Tokido recruited and accepted 3 pupils -- Murata (Yun), Nabe (Akuma), and Higaki (Sagat). The teaching corner is called TOPANGA Fight Club.
