2nd TOPANGA League (A) announced, now highest-paying FG tournament in Japan

The 2nd TOPANGA League (A League) is officially announced today. The tournament will start on August 17 (or next Friday).

Probably the most important thing, TOPANGA League is now the highest-paying fighting game tournament in Japan, overthrowing Blue Revo that gave 1 million yen to the winning team as opposed to individual.

Prizes

1. First place = 1 million yen
2. Second place = 300,000 yen
3. Third place = 100,000 yen
4. Fourth place =  50,000 yen

The winner of the league will also get the spot in the finals of Japan's SF 25th Anniversary National Tournaments on October 20.

The format or the rules are still the same as the first season. First half (Round 1-6) is online matches, second half (Round 7-12) is offline. Losing too much in the first half means more opponents you will play in the second half.
